The Partners
The partners of the CUSPIS consortium will make different
contributions to the exploitation of the project results, and they could
have different benefits and sources of revenue:
The technology/business providers (technological partners
as Exodus, Next , Centrica and business partner like Priceterwahouse Coopers)
will use their contacts to decision makers in the multimedia and telecommunication
industries to promote and market the GNSS system. They will generate additional
revenue by development and promotion of the software and hardware components,
the technical services, and by administering the GNSS services.
The Users/Institutions of consortium like Arcus, Opificio
delle Pietre Dure, Commissione Sicurezza del Patrimonio,Provincia di Roma
and Municipality of Athens, which on one side know the needs of the owners
and on the other side they have to manage different aspects of Cultural
Assets. Provincia di Roma and Municipality of Athens could be involved
as users of Cultural Assets Fruition applications interested in the development
and the improvement of touristic services. They will support marketing
efforts by providing access to reference institutions and by disseminating
information about the project’s results among potential users/customers.
They will benefit from utilizing the CUSPIS system, and may generate additional
revenues by increasing the number of customers visiting their sites. Another
partner-user is Pagnanelli, which can provide connections with insurance
companies. GNSS applications in the Cultural Assets transport area could
cause a drop of insurance costs : insurance companies could be clients
of CUSPIS services. Opificio delle Pietre Dure is playing an important
role in this moment because of its contribution to develop the Cultural
Assets Management demonstration projects: Opificio delle Pietre Dure is
describing the current scenario of Cultural Assets transportation and
is providing contacts with Cultural Assets transportation companies.
The research partners (Universities) will make CUSPIS
project results known in the scientific community. They will benefit from
CUSPIS by acquiring knowledge about user requirements and application
fields test for their methodology.
